Dog’s Summer

Well, my ESO guild is at 130 members, been staying busy with that. I’ve also been having fun with the Steam sales, and the Summer Sale is still on full thrust, so GOTTA GET DEM GAMEZ. Got the Civ 5 collection, and been playing Just Cause 2 and the multiplayer mod for it as well. I also spent time Continue reading

DHGB Organization Overhaul and Writing Stuff

To make up for my time gone, I’ve been up until 3:40 in the morning working on organizing the blog.

First up, I’ve organized the categories and gotten rid of identical ones, and changed the capitalization on some to make them upper case. I’ve also added a few new categories. I will begin applying them to older articles tomorrow.

Next, and most exciting, Continue reading

New Dog House Gaming Blog Banner!

If you’ve been reading this blog for a little bit, you’ve very likely noticed the new banner. If you’re new to the blog (I love you the same), you’ve very likely noticed the banner.

I had this idea a little while ago to have like a sarcastic banner that had negative and troll quotes about my blog — like how video game trailers will have quotes from critics about how good the game is. I decided to reverse this, and so this new banner was born. Continue reading

Happy New Years

Happy New Years (well, it’s the second day of 2014 now) to all of my readers. It’s been the biggest year for DGHB so far, and I look to be more active in the coming year with more X, Fallout, Mount and Blade, and other game articles.

Also, there’s many games coming out this year that I am excited about, such as Elder Scrolls Online, WildStar, (yeah, I’m excited for MMOs for once XD) and the continuing X: Rebirth support.

Also, I’m going to be working on a new header image for the blog which will feature my favorite quotes from comments about my blog on reddit, forums and the blog’s actual comments.

Hope to see you again this year!

Dog’s Take on X-Rebirth

I’ve been quiet lately, after the appearance of X: Rebirth earlier this month. I’ve been playing it heavily, and am here to give you my opinion on the game, its current state, and what it means for both the future of the franchise, and EgoSoft. I am going to tell you what has been done with the game, what will be done and what I’d like to be done.

Also, being that there’s so many things to touch on in this complex game, and with all the new patches, I may update this review from time to time. Leave feedback in the comments and I’ll look into and address stuff.

What Dog is Working On

Hello readers, and before I blab at you, I want to wish you a happy Veterans day, and a happy Skyrim Anniversary.

Here it is, I’m going to tell you what I’ve been (very lazily) working on. Continue reading

Dog is Playing Fallout: New Vegas, Want a Journal Series?

I know, I know, is the main thing my blog is known for currently, but X: Rebirth (which I WILL be playing) is still a little ways off, and I haven’t reinstalled X3 yet.

I had bought Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition on Steam sale for I believe it was… five bucks. I installed it the other day and have been playing it quite a bit since. I wanted to know, you people who actually find this, if you think I should do a Dog Plays Fallout: New Vegas series while waiting for the new X. Tell me in the comments below, and if I feel like it, I may just start writing them out anyways.
